Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m Amy Danielsen (formerly Amy Drennon), a Bay Area native and hairstylist welcoming guests in Burlingame, California.

I began cosmetology school while still in high school and found my passion for helping people feel their best early on. I’ve spent more than half my life doing hair—and I love the relationships i’ve built with guests and the art of what I do. With over 18 years of experience, my goal is for you to leave feeling uplifted, relaxed, and more confident than when you arrived.

I specialize in lived-in haircuts and dimensional blonding and gray blending that blend beautifully and grow out gracefully. I value high-quality, ammonia-free color and regularly invest in advanced education to keep fresh in my skills.

Your time in my chair is yours—a chance for self-care, good conversation, or simply a moment to relax. I enjoy collaborating with you, offering honest advice, and creating a long-term hair care plan that keeps your hair feeling fresh, modern, and like you. Clients describe me as calm, honest, funny, and kind, and I hope you feel that from your very first visit.

Outside the salon, you’ll often find me walking my adorable Maltipoo, Daisy, who occasionally visits the salon. I’m a longtime yogi and completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2025. I love good coffee, cooking new recipes, and a little reality TV. The beach is my happy place, and I love traveling whenever I can. I’m always happy to share tips for keeping your hair looking great on your travels as well.
